NELLA
Nella is a 32-year-old Venezuelan from a small island in Venezuela. Nella had quite the education in music before she started her career. Her love of music leads her to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. From there, she began to venture into her roots and began her journey. Before, she was an American pop addict as artists like Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey made her love music in the first place. However, she wasn't very interested in Venezuelan music.
But after getting into college and slowly being exposed to Latin music, she eventually fell in love. Nella started her career in 2019 and has sung many Venezuelan folk songs. Her original music has strong flamenco influences. Not many Latin artists sing folk songs from their respective countries. Still, Nella stands out and brings back the popularity of songs from the past. Her efforts were recognized in 2019, and she won Best New Artist at the Latin Grammys.
Nella is going on tour across Latin American, even performing in Europe. She continues to release her original music along with singing and introducing audiences to Venezuelan folk songs.
